Sake having such a low rating is malarkey! I come back to this place every time I'm back in town. The shrimp sauce, the shrimp sauce, the shrimp sauce. I would douse 3/4ths of my meals in that stuff. I saw a review saying this place was pricey? There's a McDonald's with a dollar menu just across the street, old sport. This place is legendary and tastes the exact same as it did 8 years ago when I was eating it twice a week in high school.

This restaurant is NOTHING like the ones in Gastonia and Belmont, NC. There were no cars in the parking lot and no one in the restaurant, but we figured it was just 11:20am and they opened at 11. However, no one else came in the whole time we were there. The ones in North Carolina are packed by noon. Once we got our food we found out why. The shrimp entree was 3 small shrimp and maybe an ounce of mushroom in a tiny corner of a plate full of fried brown rice. The rice had one pea and one 1/4 inch carrot cube. The was absolutely no seasoning. I poured the shrimp sauce over the rice to make it at least palatable. Drink was 75% ice. The sweet carrots side costs $2.50 and consists of 5 small carrot slices. My wife had the chicken entree and hers was the same, a huge plate of rice with a couple of peas and a carrot cube, a few mushroom pieces and an ounce or so chicken. She had 4 and a half carrots. This location also has a much more lmited menu than the ones in North Carolina.

This is a restaurant that I frequent often several times a week and I have come here consistently for over 10 years! The staff is consistent, and the food portions are great. The food,while not traditional Japanese is still a very traditional hibachi steakhouse style. The food has always come hot, prepared at the time you order, and the service is very speedy! They have been in the ROck Hill area for many years and have outlasted so many restaurants in the area. In the 10+ years I've gone to this restaurant, they have only raised their prices ONCE! Since it's family owned, everyone knows their role and for me, everyone knows my order they genuinely care about how they are viewed. Every visiting guest that comes with me always loved thier meal and desires to come back. So this gives me merit to say that the food and service are always consistent! The additional bonus of a drive thru allows me to get my order even without getting out of the car on the go! For it's location, price, staff, service, and quality, it's a surefire place to get a good hot meal Mon-Sat!

Pretty solid food here. Not a lot of options, but what they do have is great. The service is fast. You usually have your food within 5-10 minutes of ordering. Only drawback is the interior is pretty worn down and could use some work. (Vinyl seats are all peeling and torn)

Don't go here! Food was over priced in comparison to others in the same chain, the food was not even hot, the servings where skimpy, and the place was closer to shutdown than up and running. And I forgot I got sick later.

I found myself in Rock Hill and decided to try this place out. I ordered the vegetable plate entree. The entree was mediocre. It had a few mixed vegetables with a ton of rice. I wanted a spring roll but they don't have them! I also ordered their soup as a side. That was not very good. It had one or two scallions with one raw mushroom and had no taste. Overall I recommend skipping this place for lunch for something more fulfilling.

Food was over priced, paid 2.50 for side of veggies and got 4 slices of carrots. Beef was plain, no spices, and fried rice was just brown rice with no flavor That was my last visit

Been eating here since they opened and I give it 5 stars because of consistency. I have never went there and got bad service or bad food. Everything on the menu is good and if you are in a hurry they have a drive thru. Do yourself a favor and try this place!
